What is the Campus Club?
The Club was formed in April 1965 by Fred Carnill, a keen Rotarian, and their first meeting was chaired by Dr. David Goss, also a local Rotarian, with the first Club Lunch taking place in May 1965 with about 38 attendees. The cost then at the Welwyn Department Store restaurant was 7/6d! The Campus Club is open to retired and semi-retired local professional and business men and the current membership is about 80.
